Couple’s counselling
Couple’s sessions are $150/hour and appointments can be either 1, or 1.5 hours.
Couple’s counselling can help with:
Improved communication: learn to express needs, feelings and boundaries clearly and listen more effectively.
Conflict resolution skills: develop healthier ways to manage disagreements and reduce escalation.
Rebuilding trust: address breaches of trust (infidelity, secrecy, financial issues) and work toward repair.
Increased emotional intimacy: enhance closeness, vulnerability and mutual support.
Better understanding and changing patterns: identify and change repeating relational dynamics.
Shared goals and values clarification: align expectations around parenting, finances, career, and life priorities.
Strengthened problem-solving: collaborate on practical solutions and joint decision-making.
Reduced relationship distress: decrease chronic arguing, resentment and emotional distance.
Enhanced co-parenting: develop consistent strategies, boundaries and communication for parenting decisions.
Healthier boundaries: establish and maintain appropriate limits with each other and with outside influences (extended family, work).
Prevention of future problems: learn tools to manage stressors before they become severe.
Support during transitions: navigate major life changes (moving, job changes, retirement, loss) with mutual understanding.
Decision support: receive guidance when choosing to separate, divorce or recommit, including planning for next steps.
Improved empathy and compassion: increase compassion and reduce blaming.
Maintenance of relationship gains: build relapse prevention strategies to sustain improvements over time.
